Cooking Disaster

I should probably introduce myself first seen as I'm new to this whole blogging thing. I'm a nerd who actually enjoys school and you can call me Sal! I'm a fifth year student who has crohn's disease (which surprisingly has caused me to become even nerdier...). I love reading... but unlike everyone else in my school I hate Harry Potter and I hate Lord of The Rings... I'm not really into fantasy.

But anyway... on to my cooking disaster... I decided this morning (I took the say off school... stupid crohn's) that I was going to treat myself by trying out a new recipe I had found in the paper a couple of weeks ago. It looked pretty simple. It was baked egg with ham and mushroom... I know what you're thinking... how could that go wrong? Well it did. When I took it out of the oven the egg was still running. I checked the oven and I had switched it on... you would think a nerd such as myself would have read the recipe wouldn't ya? Well I didn't... you were supposed to used boiling water and I just used cold tap water... So then I got in a huff and just eat toast.

I know this is boring... but give me a while to relax into the whole blogging experience!!!
