Well, it's the first of November. Probably the most depressing month of the year. I don't know how I've lasted this long but I'm bound to catch a cold or a bug or an infection or something. Even moreso, seen as the Prof has increased my immuno-suppressant injection to every week. which means, sadly, I have to do one in the morning. I made a botch of the last one. I didn't numb the area enough and it hurt like hell.
Sadly, I'm feeling about dodgy so I'm unable to study- which I'm raging about because there was so much I wanted to catch up on over the mid-term and now I know I'm definetly not going to. I've completed all my biology revision but that's it. I've done a small bit on Business and I'm halfway through home ec but I haven't done anything in maths, French, Irish and English. And I have another english essay due. Which is one on the world's most annoying poet Adrienne Rich. She's a feminist and she finds every single reason possible to say that men are dominating women. SHUTP UP WOMAN- we have equal rights now what more do you want? Personally, I think she wants to dominate men which if you ask me is slightly hypocritical!
Yesterday was the day from hell and thanks to it my legs are absolutely aching. I was going to a revision session in Dublin but unfortunetly the DART decides it doesn't want to any further two stops away from mine. So I had to get off and ring Dad for directions and literally run all the way to the college. Where, I met my friend who told me that the session wasn't starting for ANOTHER HALF HOUR. My lungs were hurting me, that's how out of breath I was! Turns out though, that the thing wasn't even that good so it really was a waste of a day.
I did, however, meet up with the mother (who was also doing a course that day) and we did a little bit of shopping. I got my best friend's 18th birthday present. Which was a charm bracelet which cost me 30euro and the stupid shop couldn't even put it in a bloody box! But it is a beautiful bracelet. I hope she likes it seen as she'll be getting it a week after her birthday! I also bought myself a pair of boot-slipper thingys... they are so comfortable you have no idea!
I haven't done cooking for a long time but I made macaroni cheese and ham on Tuesday. It was very nice, however I think there was just a little bit too much cheese sauce in it. But it was very nice. Mam also tried out this recipe to jizz up the potatoes and it's absolutely delicious. You slice your spuds then put some olive oil, garlic and onion salt on the them and you roast them in the oven for about 30-35 minutes. They are GORGEOUS. We're having chicken goujons for dinner tonight. Yummy!
Oh my Aunty is pregnant! I'm so thrilled for her. I think she is 10 weeks now and she is already showing. I bet you it's going to be a boy... if the baby's anything like her husband it'll be two weeks late though! My cousin is about to pop. She is 6 days overdue I think... needless to say it's a boy. Boys are always late!
