Restless Night

Sadly I was unable to attend school today. I didn’t get a wink of sleep last night. Well- that’s not entirely true. I woke up at 1am and fell asleep again at 5am… then I woke up again (with a sore throat) at 6.30am. So I decided I wasn’t going to school and I watched “March Of The Penguins” in bed. That film is so cute… Morgan Freeman has a fantastic voice and the little baby penguins are just so cute!

After the film was over I decided I was getting up thinking I would feel much better… I wish- my whole body felt like lead and my head was buzzing and my eyes felt like I had been crying for a month. But I battled on and went down to have breakfast.

Seen as I was at home and I was far too tired to concentrate on any form of schoolwork I decided to catch up on all my recordings on Sky Plus. So I watched this programme called “Teen Stars: Kid Rockers” and it was crap. Then I watched LeAnn Rimes’ biography (as a result I keep singing “How Do I Live”- but who doesn’t love that song anyway?) I also watched Sean Penn’s biography… I absolutely love “Dead Man Walking” it’s such an amazing film. And finally I watched the biography of Maureen O’ Hara- I’m ashamed to say I haven’t seen one of her films but I would love to see “The Quiet Man” with John Wayne.

Thank God- The mother rang up the school today to see if she could get me out of the LCVP (this really stupid programme that’s supposed to help with your leaving cert results but all it was to me was a major stress- which is the last thing I need!!!). Thankfully the teacher said it was no problem as long as I didn’t tell anyone because then everyone would be wanting to get out of it (couldn’t say I’d blame them either!)

There has been no further developments in Faye’s divorce… but she was having a nightmare last night and we suspect that’s what it was about.
